CBO Announces Auction Results of 76th GDB Issue8/19/2025 8:00:00 PMCBO Announces Auction Results of 76th GDB IssueThe Central Bank of Oman on Wednesday 20th August 2025, announced the Auction results of the 76th Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth OMR 90,000,000.<p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">The Central Bank of Oman on Wednesday 20<sup>th</sup> August 2025, announced the Auction results of the 76<sup>th</sup> Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth OMR 90,000,000. </span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">According to a media release issued by CBO's Market Operations Department, the 76<sup>th</sup> GDB Issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, has received applications amounted OMR 189,051,000.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">The average yield was 4.32 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.135, while the highest yield was 4.34 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.045 and the lowest was at 4.28 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.310.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">The 5-year Bond will be issued on Sunday, 24<sup>th</sup> August 2025 and it will mature on 24<sup>th</sup> August 2030, carrying a coupon rate of 4.35 % p.a.<br></span></p>0x010100C568DB52D9D0A14D9B2FDCC96666E9F2007948130EC3DB064584E219954237AF3900075E4FF44B3F64489802BE694C5C6FB70300A9BCF8A0432A87429120A5B0A0EDBFF9
