CBO Announces Auction Results of 73rd GDB Issue2/17/2025 7:40:00 AMCBO Announces Auction Results of 73rd GDB Issue​The Central Bank of Oman on Monday 17th February 2025, announced the Auction results of the 73rd Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth OMR 100,000,000.<p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">​<span>The Central Bank of Oman on Monday 17</span><sup>th</sup><span> February 2025, announced the Auction results of the 73</span><sup>rd</sup><span> Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth OMR 100,000,000.</span></span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">According to a media release issued by CBO's Market Operations Department, the 73<sup>rd</sup> GDB Issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, has received applications amounted OMR 244,679,500.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">The average yield was 4.59 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.045, while the highest yield was 4.60 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.000 and the lowest was at 4.50 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.445.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span class="ms-rteThemeFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">The 5-year Bond will be issued on Tuesday, 18<sup>th</sup> February 2025 and it will mature on 18<sup>th</sup> February 2030, carrying a coupon rate of 4.60 % p.a.​</span></p>0x010100C568DB52D9D0A14D9B2FDCC96666E9F2007948130EC3DB064584E219954237AF3900075E4FF44B3F64489802BE694C5C6FB70300A9BCF8A0432A87429120A5B0A0EDBFF9
