In its endeavor to strengthen its banking relations, share experiences and establish strong cooperation relationships in the fields of banking supervision and surveillance,
<p style="text-align:justify;">In its endeavor to strengthen its banking relations, share experiences and establish strong cooperation relationships in the fields of banking supervision and surveillance, the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) has signed today at its headquarters a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority (QFCRA).</p><p style="text-align:justify;"><br>The terms of the Memorandum of Understanding included areas of cooperation in terms of enhancing bilateral relations and exchanging of information and experiences related to the development of financial and banking sectors. They also included the development of the professional cadres, the convergence of common means and standards in the fields of banking supervision and financial stability, as well as benefiting from expertise in these fields and establishing a good working relationship between the two parties.</p><p style="text-align:justify;"> </p><p style="text-align:justify;">H.E Taher bin Salim Al Amri, Executive President of the Central Bank of Oman signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the Central Bank of Oman, while Michael J. Ryan, Executive president of Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority signed the MOU on behalf of the Qatari side.</p>
